Raise a team of intercessors to pray for the ministries. Intercessors play a vital role in advancing the gospel by asking God to provide all that is needed to fulfill His divine will on the earth. Intercessors also help in fighting against every evil force of darkness that stands against the advancement of God's will and agenda. Very little advancement if any is achieved in gospel ministries without the raising of an intercessory team (See reference 2).
Recruit financers. The advancement and the spread of the gospel is a very costly undertaking. Financers need to be gained by the ministry organization through the sharing of its vision and mission and exhorting well wishers to join in the noble task of financing the various programs. To maintain the trust and support of financers, the ministry should handle finances with integrity and keep a clean record of its transactions (See reference 3 subtitle 1 "advancement through finances").
Gather a team of counselors. Such a team is instrumental in giving counsel on the advancement of the various departments involved under the ministry. It is a well known fact that in the multitude of counselors there is victory and safety. Many ministries fail to advance because of lack of proper, qualified counsel. A team of counselors forms an ideal forum where ideas and suggestions can be brainstormed. This leads to the adaptation of the good ideals that stir growth and advancement while at the same time protecting the ministry from unprofitable activities
Invite and recruit volunteers. The work of advancing the gospel requires many hands to make any significant impact. Though a ministry may have financiers who raise funds to pay staff and other expenses, it is practically impossible to pay for every single work that needs to be done in any ministry. This therefore necessitates the inviting and recruiting of volunteers to help in doing the many jobs that must be done if the various departments in the ministry are to advance.
