Develop a thick skin. If other kids know you will react when they tease you about your freckles it gives them the power. When they say something about your spots, just smile and ignore them. They will soon get tired of teasing and leave you alone.
Celebrate your freckles. Rather than freckles being something you are ashamed of, change your way of thinking and consider them your strength. After all, not everyone has freckles.
Start a "Freckles are Fun" club. This exclusive club is only open to kids with freckles. Have meetings and get kids to share their experiences and talk about how they learned to live with freckles. Act as a support group for each other and realize there are many things that are worse than having freckles.
Have a freckle contest. Like changing your attitude and starting a club, this is an opportunity to celebrate having freckles. Ask an adult to judge the contest to make sure it is fair and that the winner really does have the most freckles.
Learn to love your freckles. When you get older your freckles will likely fade, and then you will look like everyone else rather than having a unique feature. You will end up missing them.
