Open Photoshop or a similar photo-editing software on your computer. Open the picture file that you want to correct blur by clicking on "file" on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
Duplicate the picture layer at the tab on your right hand side. Perform all your corrections on the second layer. This ensures that you still have a copy of the original photo to compare.
Zoom in the picture or area that is blurry to get an accurate view. A 100 percent zoom allows you to view the edges of the images more clearly.
Click on the filter menu and choose the sharpen menu. This tool helps in sharpening the edges of the blurred image. Adobe CS2 offers a tool called "smart sharpen tool" in the sharpen menu that provides more control on the photograph as you edit.
Adjust the sharpen tool controls depending on the amount and radius you want the sharpen tool to affect. A higher value on amount gives the appearance of greater sharpness. Ensure accurate removal of the blur by selecting "more accurate." Set the shadow and highlight controls to zero while adjusting the sharpen controls.
Go back to the shadow and highlight tabs and increase the settings as you observe the image. An increase in these controls removes the noise without loosing the sharpness acquired. Zoom in to the shadow areas as you adjust the shadow controls to ensure complete removal of the noise grains.
Compare the original photograph and note the difference. Adjust the various controls to increase or reduce the sharpening on the image. Save the image once satisfied with the results.
