How to Say Color Names in Russian

Here are the basic color names in Russian written with the Cyrillic alphabet. The English name is followed by the Russian with pronunciation hints in parentheses. While in English we generally use only one word for blue, Russians use two. They always distinguish between light and dark so try and get used to this if you'll be speaking Russian.
