How to Learn Russian Fluently

Russian is a difficult language to learn. According to the Omniglot website, more than 270 million people speak Russian, which is written in the Cyrillic alphabet. To speak fluent Russian, the non-native speaker must learn basic conversational skills, greetings and introductions, all parts of Russian speech. You must also learn to pronounce each letter in the Cyrillic alphabet properly. Fluency requires many hours of practice and listening to native speakers. Many resources are available online and at local bookstores. Learning CDs, textbooks and online language exchanges are popular methods of learning a new language.
