Learn basic words and phrases in Latin. Use websites, like You Tube, that offer audio and/or video lessons in Latin that let you listen to Latin pronunciations. Watch the words on the screen as you listen to them. Then repeat them. Rewind and replay the lesson when you want to hear them again.
Expand your vocabulary and knowledge of sentence structure. Download free beginner's Latin textbooks at the Text Kit website. Choose one textbook to work with at first. Spend 30 minutes or more a day focusing on vocabulary words around a theme like "home." Learn a grammar point during your study sessions. Be sure to master each point before you move on to the next one.
