Check your password and user name to make sure they are spelled correctly. If you experience problems logging in when you start up the software, double-check that your user name and password are both spelled correctly and the "Caps Lock" button on your computer isn't held down.
Update your software to the latest version 3 software from Rosetta Stone. Running your program on older versions of the software may create conflicts. You can access the latest upgrade from the support area on the official Rosetta Stone website.
Make sure your computer meets the recommended requirements needed to use the Rosetta Stone software. You are required to have at least 512 MB of available RAM, 600 MB of free hard drive space for every level in the program and a high-speed Internet connection to access the online resources with the program.
Try using a different browser. Rosetta Stone recommends using the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox browser for best results when accessing the program. You may use Internet Explorer, Netscape or Safari, but if you have trouble when using these browsers, install the latest version of Firefox and test the software there.
Upgrade your Flash player and Java Runtime. Rosetta Stone software will not function properly without the latest version of Java.
Uninstall and reinstall your Rosetta Stone version 3 software if you continue having problems. You may lose saved information from your software when doing this, but in some cases reinstalling the software may be the only way to get the program to work properly.
