Insert the Application CD into your CD-ROM drive and close the drive. The CD will boot up on its own.
A pop-up box will appear asking for your "Interface Language." This is the language you already speak, not the language you want to learn. Select the language from the drop-down box and click "Next."
The system will begin the extraction and installation of files onto your computer. Wait for the extraction to finish.
An "End-User License Agreement" page will pop up. Read the license agreement and make sure you fully understand the terms and conditions. Click the "Accept" box, and then click "Next."
The system will automatically create directories and folders. Click "Next," and the system will extract files and put them where they need to go.
When extraction is complete, a window will pop up displaying "Ready to Install Rosetta Stone Version 3." Click "Install" to begin the installation process. When installation is complete, click "Finish."
Launch Rosetta Stone and click "Add a Language Level." Remove the "Application" CD and put in the "Language" CD, in this case, Spanish. Close the CD-ROM and wait for the application to launch.
Click "Continue" on the screen that displays "Please Insert Language CD in the CD-ROM Drive."
Select the language from the drop-down menu, and click "Install Selected Language." Click "Accept" on the next screen. This will launch the installation of the language files. When installation is complete, click "Continue."
Enter the product activation ID code that came in the Rosetta Stone box. This code is unique and sharing it with others or using someone else's ID code is illegal. Click "Activate," and then click "Continue." The product will activate and be ready to use.
