Oldsmobile brand automobiles were produced between 1897, when the company was founded, and 2004, when the company stopped production. Oldsmobile rolled Aurora models off its assembly lines between 1994 and 2003.
  1. Horsepower

    • The last model of Aurora produced, the 2003 4.0-liter, eight-cylinder Aurora sedan, offers a maximum 250-horsepower output at 5,600 revolutions per minute. In 2002, Oldsmobile manufactured two Aurora models. One features a 3.5-liter, six-cylinder, 215-horsepower engine, while the other model features a 4.0-liter, eight-cylinder, 250-horsepower engine.

    Torque

    • The 2003 4.0-liter sedan has the capacity to produce around 260 foot-pounds of torque at 4,400 rpm. The 2002 3.5-liter sedan offers 230 foot-pounds of torque, while the 4.0-liter sedan made in 2002 offers 260 foot-pounds of torque.

    Fuel Economy

    • Oldsmobile's 2003 sedan offers 17 miles per gallon city and 26 mpg highway fuel efficiency. Both 2002 Aurora models offer 18 mpg fuel efficiency on city streets. However, the 2002 3.5-liter sedan offers 27 mpg highway, and the 4.0-liter sedan offers 26 mpg highway fuel efficiency.
