Lay two pieces of sheet metal on a flat, nonflammable work area.

Flatten both pieces of sheet metal completely with a rubber mallet.

Position the sheet metal on the spot welder directly beneath the fusing electrode.

Press the "weld" button from 3 to 5 seconds for each spot to be welded.
