In addition to attending classes online, students are also required to attend several three-day sessions at the college in Denver. The program requires applicants to take the GMAT test for admission. A resume, undergraduate transcripts and several letters of recommendation are also required for admission to the program.

The certificate consists of four courses that are designed to give an overview of construction management. Most classes last for three months, although others are longer. Construction management classes are offered in subjects such as safety, estimating and planning. Students will have access to online library resources while enrolled in the program.

Students can take individual classes or earn a master's degree in International Construction Management. The college has no residency requirements, although students enrolled in the master's program will be required to make one trip to Florida at the end of their program to take a comprehensive exam.
