Other names for this major include: Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology,and Physical Education. Each School tends to use a different name for the concentration, but it's best to talk to the program advisor to make sure you are in the right concentration.
If you are searching for schools in general for all Undergraduate Kinesiology programs in the USA, Search in Phds.org. If you are looking for Graduate school programs in Kinesiology it is best to use evaluation on AAKPE.org. They have the list of all 61 Recognized programs and a very complex ranking system that has more meaning than any other rankings that you will find anywhere else.
If you are trying to get in the research aspect the best way to look for Kinesiology programs to apply is by looking for paticular professors you want to work with. All school websites have their faculty & advisors listed on the department page
There are also a few online programs as an option, but I would only suggest this to people that are self-motivated that are in a guaranteed position for a job as long as their degree is required. I would also suggest this route for people who don't plan on achieving anything higher than an entry-level in the Kinesiology education level.
