Book
Paper

Things You'll Need

  • MLA (Modern Language Association) format is a standard used by most night schools, colleges and universities for writing papers. In MLA style, each type of reference used to write a paper has to be cited in a particular way. If you are writing a paper with references from a book, citing a particular chapter of the book requires a specific format as well.
