With locations in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, the East Coast Aero Club is the premier helicopter flight school on the East Coast. The flight school has three Robinson helicopters designated for pilot instruction. Students can choose to learn techniques from a certified helicopter instructor, or gain knowledge from a senior helicopter instructor for an added cost. East Coast Aero Club has been teaching people how to fly helicopters since 1985. There are now 25 qualified instructors available to new students.

The Universal Air Academy has a comprehensive helicopter pilot course. Instructors teach students how to handle emergency situations and rescues while piloting helicopters.
