The driver training program at Arkansas Commercial Driver has graduated 15,000 students. The school owns a fleet of 20 training trucks. The program takes four weeks to complete. Classes are Monday through Friday with varying training hours; however, students should expect to attend class from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. The CDL written test is administered at the State of Arkansas testing center while the driving portion of the test is taken at the school's facility with the school's truck.

Cossatot Community College was founded in 1975. It is currently affiliated with the University of Arkansas. The college offers a four-week, 160-hour training program. In 2010, the program cost $3,600, not including books. The course provides a combination of classroom, on the road and field training. The college offers financial aid to those who qualify. All applicants must have a valid driver's license at the time of the application.

Roadmasters Drivers School offers a three-week training program focused on preparing students for CDL licensing. The program includes job placement assistance and tuition assistance to those who qualify. The school offers hands-on training in advanced driving techniques, trip planning and DOT compliance. Candidates must complete a qualification application and speak with an enrollment representative to begin the enrollment process. All applicants must have a valid driver's license at the time of the application.
