High School Diploma Completion Programs

High school completion programs exist for students who have not yet completed the required credits to obtain their high school diploma. These schools offer completion programs for those who wish to get ahead and study college courses simultaneously as well as for adults who just need to finish their course work to obtain their diploma.
  1. Green River Community College

    • Green River Community College has a high school completion plus program that offers international and domestic students an option to complete their high school credits and earn university credits at the same time. Students typically can earn two degrees within a time span of two years. Upon completion of this program, students earn their high school diploma and a university transfer associate degree.

Students must complete at least their 10th-grade year in high school to be admitted into the program; however, it is highly recommended by the school's website that students complete their 11th-grade year before enrolling into the program.

    University of Missouri

    • The University of Missouri has an online high school diploma program that is designed for adults and students who seek completion of their high school diploma without the attendance of a traditional high school. Students who enroll in this online program have the option of choosing between a general diploma and a college prep diploma. Depending on each student's needs, they will be required to complete between four and six classes for each grade that needs to be completed. The college prep diploma option only requires that students take four courses for each grade they need to complete. These courses include the subject areas of English/language arts, social studies, science, mathematics and a choice of electives such as physical education or fine arts.
