1. Submit a withdrawal form.
A withdrawal form is available from your student advisor or office. The form must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar.
2. Contact your financial aid office.
If you are receiving financial aid, you must contact your financial aid office to discuss the impact of withdrawing on your financial aid.
3. Obtain your academic records.
You may request your academic records from the Office of the Registrar. This may require a fee.
4. Enroll in a new school (optional).
If you are planning to transfer to another school, you should apply and be admitted to that school before you withdraw from Troy University.
5. Notify the registrar's office.
Before withdrawing from Troy University, you must notify the registrar's office in writing. You will be asked to provide your name, student ID number, and the date you wish to withdraw.
Once you have withdrawn from Troy University, you will be:
- Unable to register for classes or attend classes
- Ineligible for financial aid
- Required to pay any outstanding tuition and fees
- Unable to access your student account or use university facilities
