How to Receive College Credit at ULL Based on an ACT English Score

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL) is a public, post-secondary educational institution located in Lafayette, Louisiana. Accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, ULL is the largest school in the University of Louisiana system. The American College Testing (ACT) is a standardized test for achievement in English and math used by the admission's board at ULL. If you score high enough on the English portion of the ACT exam, you can receive college credit at ULL based on your score.

      Take the ACT exam and score 28 or higher on the English portion of the exam. You can sign up to take the ACT exam by completing the online registration form.

      Submit your ACT scores to ULL. You can submit your ACT scores to ULL by using the ACT online ordering system.

      Request evaluation of your ACT scores by the ULL registrar's office. As part of the orientation process, the registrar's office will evaluate your ACT test scores. You will automatically receive credit for English 101 if you scored 28 or higher on the English portion of the ACT exam.
