What is national honor junior society?

The National Honor Society (NHS) is a prestigious academic honor society for students in United States secondary schools (grades 9-12). Membership is based on scholarship, leadership, service, and character. It's not a junior society; the term "junior" isn't part of its official name. There are *similar* organizations for younger students, but they are not the National Honor Society itself.
