Check out the Gregory Drive Residence Halls that is comprised of dormitories Forbes, Garner, Hopkins, Barton and Lundgren. This area is conveniently located near Memorial Stadium, where the football team plays, and houses students in a co-educational manner. Students that live in one of these dorms are housed either in single, double or triple rooms. These dormitories are most popular because of their convenience to many different features of the University of Illinois campus. In addition to its proximity to the stadium, several recreation areas also are in the area. These dormitories are open to all students but are mainly inhabited by first-year students.
Look into the Peabody Drive Residence Halls if you cannot get into any of the Gregory Drive Residence Halls or vice versa. This area is comprised of dormitories Scott, Snyder, Weston and Taft-Van Doren and is in the same area of campus as the residences mentioned above. These dorms are nearly identical in terms of style of living and are also chiefly inhabited by first-year students.
Consider the Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Halls of Babcock, Blaisdell, Carr and Saunders dormitories. Again, these dorms are co-educational on a campus that features a host of gender-specific residences. The Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Halls are newly renovated and feature a brand new eatery that students are sure to enjoy. These dormitories are open to all students.
