  1. How to Find the Best Dorms at the University of Kentucky

    • 1

Decide what sort of lifestyle works for you, and ask an admission counselor which dorms are the most quiet or that may have the most students in your grade level. Whether you want your own private dorm room or shared accomodations can effect which dorm you should evaluate.

Check out New North Hall. This dormitory is just one of the two dorms on the northern side of campus that offers air conditioning. But what separates this dorm from the lone other north-side dorm with air conditioning is that it also offers carpeting. New North Hall is co-educational.

    • 3

Look at Smith Hall on the south side of campus. This dormitory is also co-educational and offers carpeting and air conditioning. Smith Hall also provides residents with their own personal sink to use in each room.

Tour Kerwan Tower in the south part of campus. This is the largest dormitory on campus. It has the most relaxed visitation rights of most dorms at UK. Residents are allowed to have visitors 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
