How to Become a Residential Assistant at Hofstra University

Hofstra University residential assistant positions require leadership, organizational and people skills. More than 4,000 students live on-campus in Hofstra University's seven residence complexes managed by a team of residential assistants. In addition to planning outings and managing problems between residents, residential assistants must maintain full-time status and a C-level semester and cumulative grade point average. If you meet the grade requirements after your first semester at Hofstra and exhibit the desired skills, you are eligible to become a Hofstra University residential assistant.
