How to Put Your Thesis Papers in the Right Order

You are nearing the end of graduate school and it is time to put together your thesis paper. It is important to conform to academic standards by ordering your thesis paper so it can be properly filed with your department or in your school's library. Most schools follow the MLA format guidelines for thesis papers. Thesis papers should be on 8 1/2-by-11-inch cotton-based, 16- or 20-pound, watermarked paper. A standard font such as Arial or Times New Roman is recommended. The body of your paper should be double-spaced. Number all preliminary pages with Roman numerals and the body of your paper with Arabic numerals.
