Learning precalculus can be difficult, and finding help can be overwhelming when you are already nervous about your math skills. The perplexed and uncertain, however, can find the help they need in many places on the World Wide Web. There are quite a few online services that cater to students who are struggling in math.

    The Math Page

    • The Math Page website is free and maintained by Lawrence Spector, a teacher of mathematics at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. On this website, the student will find a section titled "Topics in Precalculus." Listed here are 26 precalculus subtopics. Subjects such as linear functions, quadratics and basic graphs are covered.

    • Brightstorm is a free website that allows you to create an account to log in for math assistance. You can also access this site using your Facebook account. On this site, qualified math teachers explain precalculus terms and problems through the use of videos.
