Hotmath offers a few options to help with math problems. Users can select their textbook from the homepage, then look up a specific math problem and get hints to solve each step of the problem. For one-on-one help, users can enroll in live math help from professional math tutors.The only downside to Hotmath is the website charges fees: $49 a year for answers, $29 a year for access to videos and $20 per 50 minutes of live tutoring.
Ask Dr. Math is a question and answer service for math students and their teachers. The forum explains how to work out a problem very well and there are no charges like Hotmath. The website is a little difficult to navigate, however, and younger children might need help looking for an answer.
