How to Create Virtual Cards

A website free to all users allows students, learners and information organizers alike to create virtual, interactive, web-based study cards. Create your own and share them with people you know. Replace bulky books, study sheets and index cards that are easily torn, lost and stained with these virtual flash cards. This handy online site can easily become any student's primary study tool, from grade-school through college.

Instructions

      Register and create a free account with Flashcard Machine (See Resources). You will be required to enter your email address, a user name and an account password. Check your email. A confirmation email for your registration will be in your Inbox. Click on the link in the email to complete your account registration.

      Sign in to your new account. Click the "Get Started Creating Flashcards" link.

      Click the "Create a New Flashcard Set" link.

      Fill in the form fields that come up, such as desired titles, fonts, etc, and click "Save Set Details."

      Click the "Quick Editor" button. You will notice the blank columns that come up. Use these to type in questions and answers, vocabulary words and definitions, etc. Fill in your study material in the format you choose.

      Click the "Save" button to save the information you added to that flash card. New columns will appear. Continue filling in the columns with your study material until you are finished, saving after each card is completed.

      Press "Exit."

      Select the "Start Study Session" option. Now you are ready to begin your study review with your new virtual information cards. Flip through cards by simply striking the space bar on the keyboard.
