    The Art Institute Online

    • The Art Institute is a collection of private educational institutes that provide preparation for artistic careers. The Art Institute of Pittsburgh has an online division that offers several programs in visual art and design.     • The University of Capella is a for-profit online university that offers over 1,000 online courses. Capella has an enrollment of over 30,000 students enrolled from all 50 states as of 2011. Capella's focus is to provide education centered around a potential career.

    AIU Online

    • American InterContinental University is an online for-profit university with an open admission policy. Although they have five campuses in the United States and London, the majority of admitted students complete work online. AIU offers associate degrees, bachelor's degree programs and master's degrees in business, information technology, criminal justice and fashion design. For example AIU offers associate degrees in business administration, information systems, and visual communication. AIU also offers bachelor's degrees in computer systems, web design and programming.
