The Professional Specialization Program helps you master a specific acupressure modality. Lasting anywhere from 200 to 250 hours, the program covers emotional balancing, women's health issues, stress management or acupressure for seniors. If you take the 500-Hour Acupressure Professional Program, you'll be able to apply for voluntary certification as a certified massage therapist through the California Massage Therapy Council. For advanced students, they have an 850-Hour Acupressure Therapy Program and a 1,000-Hour Acupressure Mastery Program. These two programs enable you to become proficient in advanced acupressure and other body work modalities.

Acupressure isn't just for humans; animals can benefit from it as well. The Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute claims that animal acupressure can help build the immune system, relieve muscle spasms, strengthen muscles and help resolve injuries. Their Practitioner Certification Program combines both online training with hands-on instruction. Students learn about meridians within an animals body and how they affect their well-being, as well as how to find anatomical landmarks in order to treat an animal. Students also learn about the signs and symptoms of common animal diseases, including when you should send an animal to a veterinarian. If you're not interested in certification, the Institute also has a range of individual courses, such as Introduction to Small Animal Acupressure; Indicators and Assessment; and Meridians and Specific Conditions.
