Schools for Auto Body Work

Job opportunities are excellent for auto body workers with formal training, according to the 2010-11 Occupational Outlook Handbook. As an auto body worker (known as a collision repair technician), you will assess damage, decide how to accomplish the repairs and do them. They can range from minor scratches to more complex efforts requiring replacement parts and electrical work. Schools for auto body work can prepare you to work in either a collision repair shop or even in your own auto body business.
