Training Division is the web's largest online firefighter and EMT training academy for the U.S. and Canada. The Training Division allows students to take courses online without time constraints or deadlines. Students must take a two-week on-campus training session, which can be scheduled for any time of the year. The campus in Hillsboro, Texas has a dormitory, fire field and training center. Tuition for the Firefighter 1 and 2 courses is $2,500 and certifications for both positions are issued upon graduation.

Keiser offers an associate of science degree in fire sciences. This degree is designed for students looking to move into a fire management position. Class topics include methods for preventing fire, understanding fire detection systems, fire code, arson and accident investigation, fire science and handling hazardous waste. Firefighter training programs at the Illinois Fire Service Institute are offered as online modules, covering 22 different subject areas. Each course is delivered through the institute's online web portals with downloaded reading materials, audio lectures and group chat sessions to discuss topics. Homework and quizzes are also taken online. Each online course costs $300 and takes approximately 10 weeks. The IFSI houses a training facility for hands-on learning and works with a network of regional facilities for students living outside the area.
