Vet Tech Schools in Michigan

Veterinary technicians are trained to assist veterinarians much as a nurse assists a doctor. They are also sometimes known as animal health technicians. Their role is more skilled than that of a veterinary assistant, who usually provides only basic care. Students interested in becoming veterinary technicians can pursue either a two-year vocational or a four-year bachelor of science degree at any program accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
