    • Abilene Christian University offers Cisco-certified training via its School of Information Technology and Computing. Their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology teaches students the technical skills necessary to configure, develop and deploy technology infrastructures. Included in this training is the Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) exploration program, which covers the fundamentals and advanced applications of networking topics, while also providing hands-on training. Network protocols, network applications and provided services to network lower layers are also explored.

    Adirondack Community College

    • Adirondack Community College is a Cisco Networking Academy partner that provides an Associates of Science in Information Technology. Adirondack's curriculum prepares students for taking the CCNA certification test, through academic and hands-on studies centering on network cabling, hardware and installation and maintenance of computer networking systems. Advanced students may pursue the Cisco Advanced Routing (CCNP1) certificate or Cisco's courses for Network Professional (CCNP2, CCNP3, or CCNP4). These courses are the stepping stones needed to achieve the Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) certification.

    Bloomfield College

    • Bloomfield College's Advanced Technology Institute offers students a wide variety of Cisco training. Its IT Essentials program teaches students about PC software and hardware basics. This includes components, portable devices, laptops, security, wireless connectivity, diagnostic tools, and environmental concerns. Bloomfield's CCNA Discovery program gives students hands-on training in general network building theory. In the CCNA Exploration program, students receive a more comprehensive networking overview, including the theoretical concepts of the field, as well as practical applications. Bloomfield offers students CCNA Security Certification. This program is designed for a networking professional who wants to certify his ability as a security administrator, a network security specialist, or a network security support engineer. The college's CCNA Wireless Certification program centers on the industry's increasing use of wireless LANs. Bloomfield also offers the CCNA Voice Certification, which certifies networking professionals in the voice technologies. Lastly, the CCNP v5.0 program gives advanced students an overview of the complex configurations of networks, as well as the use of diagnostic tools and the processes involved in troubleshooting.
