Fire Sprinkler Degree Schools

Fire prevention and protection is a valuable certification to have. It is taught at various institutions across the nation, and is accredited appropriately. However, there are also institutions that teach the importance of fire sprinkler systems technology. In case of fire, buildings should have an automatic, adequate way to self-extinguish --- or at least to suppress the fire hazard until proper technicians arrive. Some institutions offer certificates and diplomas while others offer associate's degrees and bachelor's degrees in fire sprinkler technology. (See Reference 1-5)
  1. Oklahoma State University

During the three days, topics from piping types, drainage systems, and hydraulics will be covered --- as well as much more. The course fee for a non-AFSA member is $1,390.00 per individual; the fee for an AFSA member is $1,290.00 per individual as of January 2011. (See Reference 3)
