1. Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: You must be a citizen of India.
- Age: Age limit for enrolling in the IAF after an MBA varies based on the type of entry. Generally, it is between 20 to 28 years.
- Educational Qualification:
- You should hold a valid MBA degree in Marketing from a recognized university in India.
- A first-class bachelor's degree in any discipline is also required as the minimum educational qualification.
- Medical Standards: You must meet the medical standards set by the IAF for flying and ground duties.
2. Recruitment Process:
- Officer's Training Academy (OTA): To join as a commissioned officer, you can apply for the Short Service Commission (SSC) through the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). Upon clearing the written exam, you will be called for an interview and further selection process.
- Non-Technical Ground Duties: If you are interested in non-technical ground duties, you can apply through the Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB). The CASB conducts recruitment for various Group 'A' and Group 'B' posts.
3. Selection Process:
- Written Examination: You will need to qualify in the written examination, which includes subjects like English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.

4. Training:
- If selected, you will undergo training at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, Hyderabad. The training includes academics, physical training, and flying or ground duty-related training.
5. Commission:
- After successful completion of training, you will be commissioned as an officer in the Indian Air Force.
