  1. Glasgow Metropolitan College

    • The Glasgow Metropolitan College’s School of Food, Hospitality, Sport and Tourism offers a six-month course in Hospitality Management. The course provides an overview of the Travel and Tourism Industry in Scotland and serves as a beginner's course to pave the way for the student to study in other hospitality courses at the school. The core of the course includes instruction on how to receive and accommodate travelers in a hotel, how to administer the accommodation schedule and how to service the facilities in the hotel. The course also provides instruction in food and drinks services and includes an introduction to serving alcoholic beverages. The school offers optional areas of instruction in health and safety, food hygiene, marketing a hotel, estimating costs, information technology and communication skills. The school has a limited number of scholarships available for eligible students.

    Glasgow Caledonian University

    • The Glasgow Caledonian University offers eleven Hotel Management and Hospitality courses taught at the university's Saltire Campus. Their undergraduate two-year travel courses include International Travel and Tourism Enterprise and International Tourism & Hospitality Enterprise, Entertainment and Events Management, International Tourism and Hospitality Enterprise. The Glasgow Caledonian University's M.A. courses include one- and two-year courses in International Tourism Enterprise.
