Santa Rosa Junior College offers associate's degrees and certificates in a variety of fields, including aeronautics, automotive technology, communication, interior design, counseling, library science, Italian, meteorology, political science and welding. Associate's degrees take approximately two years and can be transferred to another California four-year school. Students also may be interested in the college's sports teams, which include water polo, volleyball, basketball, cross country, swimming and tennis. Students can also join campus clubs such as the anime group, chess club, geology club, Mac users and Polynesian nation. Financial aid is available.

Students at Sonoma State University can work toward a bachelor's or master's degree in fields that include creative writing, jazz studies, sculpting, French, geology, criminal justice administration, computer science and kinesiology. Sonoma State offers it students financial aid (scholarships, grants, work study and loans), counseling and psychological assistance, a recreation center (including massage and a pool), health center, library and computer labs. Napa Valley College offers four-year bachelor's degrees in fields such as physical education, performing arts, computer studies, counseling, languages and engineering. Students also can enroll in one of the college's specialty programs in criminal justice training or the Napa Valley Cooking School. While on campus, students can participate in organizations such as the Club Hispanico Americano, video game club, society of broadcast engineers, community garden club and amnesty international. Honor societies and student government are also available for student involvement. Napa Valley College provides students with counseling (personal and career), a health center, child development center, a library, math center and the opportunity to study abroad.
