The university of Oklahoma does recognize cum laude in degree programs.

There are three tiers of Latin honors:

- Cum Laude recognizes a top 12% to 25% of the graduating class.

- Magna Cum Laude recognizes the top 5% to 12% of the graduating class.

- Summa Cum Laude recognizes the top 1% to 5% of the graduating class.
