    • The University of Hawaii offers a 52-credit doctoral program in educational technology. Students take core courses, educational technology core courses, emphasis courses and cognate field courses, participate in fieldwork on an internship and take at least one dissertation credit. The school designed the program with working professionals in mind---although classes are on campus, students take them in the evenings to accommodate their work schedules. Full-time students can complete course work in two years before beginning their dissertation. Students must have a master's degree to apply to the program.
