If you get a degree in science would it make an RN?
No, a science degree does not automatically make someone a Registered Nurse (RN). While a science background is very helpful and often required for entry into a nursing program, you need to complete a specific nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Diploma in Nursing) and pass the NCLEX-RN licensing exam to become an RN.
