What does candidate for a bachelors in science mean?

"Candidate for a Bachelor of Science" means someone who is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program and is expected to graduate and receive their degree upon fulfilling all the requirements of the program. They're in the final stages of their studies. They haven't yet graduated but are on track to do so.
