To graduate from Harvard College, students must complete a minimum of 32 courses (128 credits), including seven general education courses and a concentration in a single field of study. Of the 32 total courses, students are required to take at least eight in arts and humanities, eight in history and social studies, five in mathematics and physical science, and two in foreign language.
In addition to completing coursework, students must also fulfill a residence requirement which means living on campus for eight semesters and maintain a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00. Students have up to eight semesters (four academic years) to complete degree requirements
