An emulsion occurs when you blend two materials that cannot otherwise mix, such as oil and water. Knowing how to create an emulsion for your homemade skincare and beauty products gives you the ability to blend fats, waxes and water with ease. Even the novice soap crafter can do this. It also allows you to make use of ingredients found in your home, supermarket or craft store.
