This grant is offered to undergraduate students who are pursuing careers in aerospace, astronomy, space science or other space-related research and studies. The organization requires all applicants be U.S. citizens who are enrolled full-time in, have been admitted to or have applied to an undergraduate program at a Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium-affiliated college or university (check the WSGC website for a full list). Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 grade point average and above average SAT and/or ACT scores. This grant is subject to an availability of funds and offers up to $1,500 per student maximum.

This program provides grant assistance to undergraduate Wisconsin residents who are enrolled in degree or certificate programs full time or half time at Wisconsin Technical College, University of Wisconsin or tribal colleges. Student eligibility may not exceed 10 semesters, and all grants are awarded based on the financial need of the applicant. The minimum grant amount is $250 and the maximum is $3,000, with all minimums and maximums set annually by the HEAB.

This grant was established to provide financial assistance to Wisconsin undergraduate residents who are enrolled in either an in-state or out-of-state higher learning institution and who have severe visual or hearing impairment. This is also the only grant offered by the HEAB given to students attending out-of-state schools. The number of awards given per year varies based on the number of qualified applicants who have a financial need, with a minimum grant amount of $250 and a maximum of $1,800. Minority students of Native American, Eskimo, African-American or Hispanic descent as well as former citizens of Cambodia, Laos or Vietnam are eligible for this grant, which is intended to increase the diversity in Wisconsin institutions of higher learning. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, are required to demonstrate financial need and must be enrolled in a two-year or four-year nonprofit college at least part time.
