Lillstreet Art Center is an arts community organization and school. Lillstreet offers classes in subjects ranging from ceramics, painting, textiles, metal smithing and glass work. Lillstreet also affords working artists studio space, a store in which to sell works of art, and gallery space for exhibitions. A student interested in art cannot earn a college degree at Lillstreet but can develop technical proficiency in a wide variety of art forms and make connections within the Chicago art world. Students can also combine study at Lilstreet with work towards a degree at an accredited art college or other college or university.
