Take the Graduate Management Admission Test and have your scores submitted to the NYU Stern School of Business. Be sure to submit the specific testing code for NYU when you take the GMAT. When you take the GMAT, you may send your scores to as many as five schools when you take the test.
Submit an official application to the Stern School of Business. You can do this electronically at http://www.stern.nyu.edu/AcademicPrograms/FullTime/Admissions/Apply/index.htm.
Upload a scanned copy of your official undergraduate transcripts, a copy of your resume and work history and a list of your achievements.
Request two former or current work supervisors to write letters of recommendation on your behalf. These letters should highlight your potential to succeed in a management position.
Write an essay highlighting your career goals. Take some time to consider how the Stern School of Business will help you achieve your goals. Have a friend read your essay and offer feedback before you submit.
Pay the nonrefundable application fee of $215 after you have successfully uploaded all of the required materials. If the university deems you a potential candidate, you will be contacted for an interview.
Prepare for the admissions interview as you would prepare for a job interview. Use this opportunity to sell yourself to the Stern School.
