How to Join the Naval War College

The U.S. Naval War College is an educational research institution under the direction of the United States Navy. The college is located at the Naval Station Newport in Newport, Rhode Island and specializes in developing naval war strategy and operational activities. The college, established in 1884, is open to military officers from all branches as well as government officials.

Joining the U.S. Naval War College requires an application and review procedure by the school's administration.
