How to Footnote a Website for a Thesis

Attribution for your thesis can be a challenging prospect. There are more sources of information than ever, and when you couple that with the different styles used by universities, you can have a tough time properly footnoting your thesis. All three major styles, Modern Language Association (MLA), Chicago and American Psychology Association (APA), have different rules between them, so before you start writing, determine which style your department uses.
