Joining Delta Sigma Phi can help you meet people who share your interests; it can provide a way to engage in campus activities and it can provide members with leadership and community service opportunities. Joining a fraternity requires a pledge period; this is when potential members learn about the history and traditions of the organization.

      Gather and carefully read the policies and expectations of fraternities, through your campus activities or Greek Affairs office.

      Attend a social activity at your campus Delta Sigma Phi chapter, to verify that you can relate to, connect with, and agree with the chapter's traditions and expectations.

      Sign up for campus rush. For Delta Sigma Phi, rush is no longer than eight weeks. The rush process is a mutual decision-making process. You select your top fraternities and the fraternities select their top pledges.

      Attend classes, social activities, leadership training, and community service events with fraternity members during the pledge process.

      Go through the Delta Sigma Phi initiation ceremony once you complete your pledging process.

      Celebrate! Once you have completed the initiation ceremony, you will be a member of the fraternity.
