How to Repeat a Physics Course at UCLA

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) has designed a simple procedure for students who need to repeat a physics course. Whether the poor grade was due to an illness or family pressures, with a little time and effort a student can retake a UCLA physics course for a better grade.

Instructions

    • 1

Receive a grade of C- or lower in a physics course. According to the UCLA College of Academic Counseling (CAC), a student can repeat a course only if he received a grade of C- or lower.

    • 2

Log in to URSA, UCLA's online course registration system, and select the physics course you want to retake. If you are unsure it is the same physics class, check the course identification number located before the course name.

    • 3

Wait for the registrar's office to code the physics class as a repeat. Due to the large enrollment, it may take the registrar's office a couple of days to do this.
