Fill out the admission application beginning with your name and address and then mark which campus you'll attend. Some courses of study are not available at particular campuses; you can determine these with help from your admissions representative. Then you must answer some personal question, such as whether English is your first language. If it is not, you'll need to demonstrate your proficiency or take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and tell Argosy your score and the date of the exam. After you fill out the application completely, sign it and send it to the school with a fee of $50 (as of 2011), which is non-refundable except in California.
If you have attended another college, you must submit an official transcript from the school. The purpose of this is to determine which, if any, credits you will be transferring to Argosy. As of 2011, the maximum credit hours that you can transfer is 78 for a two-year degree and 90 for a four-year degree.
If you are applying to Argosy University for admission to a first-year program, you must include proof that you have graduated from high school. This can be in the form of a copy of your diploma or an official letter from your high school that you have successfully graduated. If you earned a GED, you must provide a copy of your certificate or a letter from the issuer.
Argosy University has made it easy for you to apply. Either you can fill out the application and mail it to the university along with the supporting documents and the fee, or you can apply online. If you choose to apply online, you must first create an account and password. Once that has been established, you will have access to an admissions application. You can pay the application fee by using a debit or credit card or by mail.
